Whatever is hidden is sought after, what ever is seen is usually ignored. The value of scarcity can be seen in the value we place on treasures than we place on water or sand. Imagine if sand or water becomes scare today and human existence depended on getting it, what do you think will transpire in the human mind about the perceived value of these commodities?
